Dustin Latimer was raised with the belief that boundaries only exist to those who wish to acknowledge them. He looked up to his Grandfather, who was a Professional Football and Tennis Player and also witnessed the achievement of his Father, who was a medal-holding Olympic Skier and Tennis Player. His mother, and his nurturing nudge to success also demonstrated a deep love for competition as she ran and won Triathlons until she was five months pregnant with her first son, Dustin Latimer.
At just a year old, when most children were learning to walk, Dustin was on skis, and by the ripe age of 7, he had won the BMX Grand Nationals. After discovering the art involved in moving and twisting his body while making every move look entirely effortless, Dustin was embraced, worldwide, by the Extreme Athletic Industry as a Professional Rollerblader. It was not long after when he started traveling the world, introducing a new and innovative approach to the sport. But his ambition and enthusiasm did not end with his talent - Dustin successfully ran his own line of clothing and skating essentials which, to this day, continue to benefit and enhance the world of Extreme Sports Enthusiasts.
Dustin eventually traded his life of travel and competition for a family life full of balance and his favorite part, a Son. He maintains an impeccable sense of stability as he conquers new challenges as a Mountain Bike Rider, which he is able to enjoy along with his three year old son, who also shows a phenomenal amount of talent in the sport.
Dustin recognizes his life as a blessing that he created for himself by pushing his limits and disregarding failure as an option. He aspires to share his ambition and knowledge for all things "Athletic" to Foster Children who feel as though they have nothing left to hold on to. It is his idea, that strength comes from within, which will guide the next generation of Foster Youth toward a life of unwavering self-confidence and limitless potential.
